As a competitive field, economic development is the basis of every successful community. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to economic development because of the unique peculiarities that each community has. As each community learns about what will work in their localities and regions, they also need to work together and collaborate across the country. 

Our Local Economic Development course is designed to provide information, resources, and tools that will assist local regions thrive in spite of existing challenges. This course is for locally elected officials, community representatives, and economic development practitioners working in local regions.
